What is AED?
AED (automated external defibrillator) is a portable device that can be used to treat a person who has collapsed and whose heart has suddenly stopped working. This condition is called sudden cardiac arrest. AED works by delivering electric shock directly across the chest, in an effort to restart the heart and eventually saves lives.
